The Worshipful Master |
|
|
Each year a Master Mason is elected to serve as Worshipful Master of the Lodge and this year it is my privilege to have been so elected. Before one can be eligible for election he must have served as a Warden for a full year in a regular Craft Lodge. The duty of the Worshipful Master is to lead the ceremonies during the meetings and to represent the Lodge within the wider Masonic community. Within membership of the Gilbert Inglefield Lodge we have a good cross section of age groups with many Past Masters. However, we are fortunate to have a large group of younger Masons progressing through the offices of the Lodge. Initiates are the lifeblood of Masonry and in Gilbert Inglefield Lodge our group of younger members is ever expanding thus ensuring its healthy continuation. W. Bro. John M Jappy Jnr |
